FriFinans workshop a flop

The [FriFinans][ff] workshop at [LinuxParty][1] was not very productive. As you can see at the picture, the only there were my collegue [Jacob][2], which is the original founder of [FriFinans][ff]. There were 17 at the [LinuxParty][1] and not one of them attended our workshop.

First impression

After 3-4 hours of playing around with my new Canon [EOS 350D][1], I can only say this: It’s f****** great. Ok, I haven’t had any [SLR][2] cameras before, but it’s still just great. Without any manual setting at all, just point-and-press, I took the following picture, which I think summarize pretty well my first impression. It’s not postprocessed at any way. It’s just the raw photo from the camera.

Just received…

my new [Canon EOS 350D][1]. To night I’m gonna explore this new gadget to see if it’s really that good.

FriFinans Workshop on LinuxParty @ Roskilde

On Saturday 29. oktober, I will hold 3 workshopsessions, where we will work on [FriFinans][1]. Each session is 3 hours and at the beginning of each session I will introduce myself, the project, the system etc. There will be different tasks for both developers, translaters and administrators.

New Digital Camera ordered

I have finally bought my first digital camera. I have for month been looking at Canons [EOS 350d][1] (Rebel XT). It’s quite expensive but it has really got some excellent reviews. I have bought it together with a 1GB CF card.

When I have received and tryed it, I will review it and show some example pictures.
